1. Appointments and bookings
Welcome to Chicago Hair at Sorrento, a sustainable hair salon dedicated to eco-friendly practices and exceptional client care. By booking an appointment with us, you agree to the following Terms and Conditions.
All bookings are made via the Fresha booking system, via phone or in person. Clients must provide accurate details when booking.
A confirmation email or SMS will be sent once the appointment is secured.
Please arrive on time for your appointment. Late arrivals may result in a shortened service or rescheduling at the salon’s discretion.
2. Cancellations and rescheduling
Cancellations made within 24 hours may incur a cancellation fee of up to 50% of the service cost.
No-shows will be charged 100% of the appointment value and may be restricted from future bookings.
3. Deposits and Payments
Some services may require a deposit at the time of booking. Deposits are non-refundable but can be transferred if rescheduling occurs with at least 24 hours’ notice.
Payment is accepted via cash, EFTPOS, or credit card or through the Fresha online booking system. We do not accept cheques.
All prices are subject to change without prior notice.
4. Sustainable Practices
As a sustainable salon, we strive to minimise waste and use eco-friendly products.
Clients are encouraged to bring reusable items (e.g., towels, cups) if they wish to further support our green initiatives..
5. Health and Safety
If you have any allergies, sensitivities, or medical conditions, please inform your stylist before your appointment.
We reserve the right to refuse service if a client presents with a contagious condition or any other health concern that may affect salon hygiene and safety
6. Privacy Policy
We respect your privacy and only use your personal information for appointment management and salon communications.
Your details will not be shared with third parties without consent.
7. Client Clothing and Colouring Process
Chicago Hair at Sorrento is not responsible for any potential damage to client clothing during the colouring process.
Clients are advised to wear suitable protective clothing or bring their own, as we cannot guarantee that no stains or damage will occur.
By proceeding with the colouring service, clients acknowledge and accept that they undertake the process at their own risk.
8. Amendments to Terms and Conditions
These terms may be updated periodically. Continued use of our services after any changes implies acceptance of the revised terms. Booking and undertaking an an appointment provides acceptance of these terms.
FAQ
Can I have a bridal updo?
We do not do bridal updos, as this is not our specialty. Our focus is brilliant cuts, colours and styling. Please do not be offended if you request an updo as part of your service and we say no.
2. Why do I have to pay a $3 Green Fee?
As a sustainable salon we go the extra mile for the environment, which adds additional costs for us. In order to help us out, a $3 green fee is charged to offset those costs.
